I have been taking photographs since I was sixteen years old. I started with a Kodak box and moved up to a Yashica Mat 2 ¼ square, on to a Minolta 35mm then to a Nikon FE and assorted lenses.
By this time I was getting really serious about my photography. I took several photography courses and began to shoot as a freelancer doing both commercial and party work. I joined a camera club where the competition and critiquing from the more experienced and published members really helped to develop my skills and photography know how both from the technical as well as artistic perspective. During this period I competed at the club winning ribbons and honorable mentions from the National Association for Photographic Art (NAPA) now known as CAPA. As well, one of my highly judged prints was displayed in an exhibit ,sponsored by The Quebec Society for the Promotion of Photography, that toured the province of Quebec.
My merchandising and marketing business positions allowed me to travel the world and my equipment traveled with me. I was fortunate to be able to visit many countries in Europe and Asia as well as a major portion of the USA and Canada, photographing as I worked.
About 10 years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I switched to Canon equipment utilizing Eye focus and Image stabilization products. I now use the Canon 35mm for various applications and a Canon digital camera and printer combination.
Since my recent retirement I’ve been quite successful promoting and selling my photography for both home and office décor. I hope you enjoy my work and would like to flatter your walls with my photographs.
